The entry and exit inventory
When, with whom, and why it protects both parties.
- The entry inventory is drawn up together, detailed, dated and signed, during the first month of occupation or while the dwelling is still empty.
- Without a detailed entry inventory, the tenant is presumed to have received the dwelling in the condition it is in at the end of the lease.
- You can draw it up yourselves or with a jointly chosen expert, fees shared. If one party does not cooperate, the justice of the peace can appoint an expert.
- The exit inventory takes place after the tenant has left and before the keys are returned, at the latest one month after departure.
- The rental guarantee is then refunded within two months of departure.
What Autopilot does for you: Reminds you of the inventory at entry and exit, provides the checklist and follows up with the guarantee refund.
