Double registration of the lease

Irisrent and MyRent, within two months.

• The landlord registers the lease within two months of signature. It is free.
• Since 1 January 2025, regional registration on Irisrent is mandatory. Since the Constitutional Court ruling of 3 April 2025, you must also register on MyRent.
• An unregistered lease cannot be indexed, and the landlord loses the protection of the Brussels Housing Code’s notice rules.
