Accessibility statement
We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA on the whole site, the tools and the app.
What we do
- Every text and background colour pair is tested for contrast, in light and dark mode.
- Every page has a skip link, one main heading, labelled fields, visible focus and targets of at least 24 by 24 pixels.
- Results that change as you type are announced in one line, once you stop typing.
- An automated audit checks every page, on computer and phone width, at each change.
Known limits
- A manual test with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA) is still to be done.
- The Region’s model letters and documents we link to are outside our control.
